The house has a forecourt and a ramp that allow an easy way to get in. Staircases and elevators are equipped to move inside the house. The first floor includes guestrooms bathrooms and an interior pool. The floor is naturally well-lit by a light shaft.
This impressive project has been completed by Santiago-based 57 Studio and it has been built around native trees in relationship with them. The Fray Leon House which showcases a complex contemporary architecture has been constructed around the imposing old trees seen on the property. The house is H-shaped.
The house features a cavernous passageway which leads everyone into the house. The main Living Room is designed as a lightweight glass box which has been constructed out of full double height teak strip screen walls. The walls act as floor to ceiling shutters that eliminate the boundary between interior and exterior environments. Teak strips have also been used to construct the roof of this room.
This small two-storey home is situated on an area of 775 sq ft. The house is very well designed by the Japanese Studio Takeshi Hosaka Architects. The Room Room House was designed for a family with deaf parents and two children. The house has two levels.
